Challenge
Millers Oils had a number of positions they were struggling to fill and were in need of additional guidance and help with the process as a whole, specifically around visibility and candidate attraction.
Solution
Our first step was to find out what sources they were currently using to advertise their roles and to see what aspects of their current process was working for them and which weren’t. In our initial discussions we discovered they were only using a single platform for advertising but also didn’t feel their brand was being fully utilised in a way that did them justice and would entice candidates to apply.
Our solution to this was two fold, the first was to utilise our Attract advertising solution to increase the reach of their job adverts, getting them in front of over 85% of the active candidate market and massively increasing overall visibility of their positions.
The second stage was slightly more complex and involved ensuring their brand identity was consistent across all mediums but was also dynamic and appealing to candidates. To do so we helped with rewriting the advert text to place more emphasis on the company identity and the benefits while also creating branded profiles that capitalise on their presence within the automotive racing industry to make the adverts feel more dynamic and engaging when being viewed.
Conclusion
The combination of improved visibility and more appealing adverts saw immediate results which saw Millers Oils post an additional 5 roles with us resulting in over 400 candidate applications within the initial 6 week period and ultimately hiring 4 candidates within that period with 2 more candidates in the final stages.
