Challenge
As a prominent employer in their local area the team at Novum Structures felt like they were losing out on organic candidates visiting their website but being unable to clearly see the available positions or find a way to put themselves forward for those they could find.
Solution
Their initial intention was to build a dedicated careers page for their website that could be used to convert those candidates, unfortunately this turned out to be a lot more expensive than anticipated. With design, build, integration, and ongoing maintenance they were looking at over £10k just to get the page put in place, so they approached us to see what we could do to help.
Having already used our Attract service to advertise their role they thought we may be able to help and fortunately we had just launched our brand new ATS, Connect, which among other things comes with its own Careers page builder that’s included in the monthly subscription cost. With full customisability and pre-integration with our system it requires minimal involvement to set up and once done any roles will automatically be publish/unpublish based on their status within the ATS.
Conclusion
After a trial of the new ATS and getting hands on with all the additional features the team at Novum Structures signed up and set up their new customised careers page, saving them a significant amount of money and allowing them to fully capitalise on the visitors to their site, they were particularly happy with the option for speculative CVs to be submitted as this has helped them avoid having to even advertise a role since a suitable candidate had already put themselves forward.
