Job Title: Hygiene Operative
Location: Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5ET
Salary: £9.30 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Mon – Fri, 7am – 5pm)
This company is a leading Rice and Pasta business in the UK (part of a larger Foods Group) serving the wholesale, retail and food manufacturing industries.
The Role:
They are looking for a Hygiene Operative to ensure Factory hygiene levels are kept to the standard required and to ensure the Hygiene schedule is kept up to date. Your time will be split between the Mill itself and the Packing warehouse. The area to keep clean covers 6 floors of a Mill and reasonable adjustments to this role is limited due to its physical nature.
Key Accountabilities:
- Inform the Mill Manager of any issues that prevent the completion of your prime responsibilities
- Ensure good cleaning practices are adhered to at all times
- Report and or undertake any temporary repairs necessary to prevent further spillage
- Undertake other duties where necessary
- Carry out your duties in a safe manner following company Health and Safety guidelines
