Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Job Type: Full Time – Permanent. Candidates must be willing to work regular overtime (weekend & evenings) which is paid at a premium rate.
Direct Engineering provides services throughout the UK and Ireland, ranging from pipework to large scale structural steelwork. We are now recruiting time served Mechanical Fitters to expand our growing mechanical engineering division.
Candidate Essentials:
- Experience in food and drink processing plants
- Assembly/Dis-assembly and Maintenance of complex rotating machinery experience
- Conveyor maintenance experience
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Key Requirements:
- High level of technical /practical competence in rotating equipment, particularly on pumps and Gearboxes
- Ability to multi-task
- Proactive and motivated
- Enthusiastic and flexible
