Job Title: Sales Administrator
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire
Position: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
School Property Matters operates nationally in a niche market with only one smaller competitor. Our company has a great reputation and is highly respected in our market for the honest and valued data and reports supplied.
School Property Matters provides pupil capacity analysis services to schools. Helping to inform admissions processes and assist in negotiations for capital funds when schools are expanding. Our customers are schools and organisations managing schools.
The Role:
The role is full time forty hours per week based in Poulton-le-Fylde town centre in our own offices. Opportunity to work occasional days from home are possible once you are trained. Sales are currently managed by the Managing Director, as the new person develops, there is opportunity to grow into a full sales role if desired.
We are seeking a meticulous, adaptable and ambitious person, in this role you will liaise with customers, verify customer information, issue invoices, relay order instructions, and complete monthly sales reports, as well as co-ordinating with customers in retrieving information when needed.
To ensure success, you should have experience in a sales environment with advanced administrative skills together with an understanding of sales performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issuing sales invoices.
- Verifying orders, including customers’ personal information and payment details.
- Contacting customers via phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
- Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
- Compiling monthly sales reports.
- Expediting orders through internal liaison.
- Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
- Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales administration, or a similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with industry software such as customer relationship databases.
- Advanced knowledge of administrative record keeping.
- Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
