Job Title: Labourer
Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Scunthorpe
Salary: From £22,500 Basic + Overtime
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
As a result of our continued ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder is looking for Support Team Members working at our Central Distribution Depot, or one of our two support sites in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the cleaning of our distribution facility, ensuring good housekeeping is maintained in all operational areas.
To assist in the flow of information from our loading cranes into the office.
The Role:
- Reporting to our Yard Foreman.
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are always followed.
- You will be fully trained in all aspects of ensuring a clean workplace.
- Making sure that information is passed in a timely manner to our despatch team.
The Candidate:
- Someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking, driven and self-motivated with a desire to learn.
- Be flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
- Ability to work under their own initiative and be motivated to continue to work without constant supervision.
- Having a passionate and positive attitude along with a strong work ethic
- Must have a good command of the English language
- Verbal communication with accuracy and attention to detail is essential

- Salary – From £22,500 Basic + Overtime
- We offer the flexibility for you to work days only or to work on one of our new Shift patterns
- All Shift pattern working between the hours of 6 am to 10 pm – No Nights (with shift allowance where appropriate)
- All Shift pattern working between 6 am Monday until 6 pm Saturday (one Saturday per 28 day rota) with no Sunday working.
