Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year
Job type: Permanent – Full Time. 37 hours per week – Hybrid working.

The Vacancy:

As part of our People team, you will work closely with the business to implement and deliver operational and strategic objectives. You will use your experience, skills and knowledge to make an impact in key areas such as recruitment, employee relations and management development. You will be KPI driven, with the ability to analyse data to best advice and guide the business, to create a proactive culture.
The right candidate will work closely with the Assistant Director of People & Wellbeing to support strategic projects and will thrive in working with a variety of key stakeholders.
In this role you will need to:
- Lead, develop and manage a HR Advisor and HR Coordinator to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Have the ability to quickly forge and maintain working relationships, build trust and establish a highly influential approach.
- Coach and support managers to advocate our values and behaviours.
- Support the business in the interpretation and application of employment legislation, HR Policy and case law.
- Manage challenging conversations and cases to best support our employees and the business.
- Deliver coaching and training sessions to both support and develop our teams.
The Candidate:
You will be passionate about people and the value a motivated, engaged, diverse and inclusive workforce brings. You will be support-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically and fairly with a wide variety of people.
Essential:
- At least 5 years’ experience of managing complex employee relations cases.
- Experience in building relationships with stakeholders and communicating at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- You will need a satisfactory basic level DBS check.
- CIPD qualified.
