Job Title: Accommodation & Office Manager

Location: Kishorn, Ross-Shire

Salary: Circa. £35,000 p/a depending on experience.

Job type: Full – time, Permanent. Core hours of work 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of all welfare and gatehouse facilities. Duties will include:

  • Ensuring the reception facilities are sufficiently covered to offer continued services to clients and guests
  • Ensuring that sign in / office procedures are followed via the reception system
  • Carrying out probation reviews and annual appraisals on all gatehouse, cleaning, catering, and reception staff
  • Overseeing the cleaning team to ensure that sufficient cover is in place and all cleaning requirements are met daily
  • Auditing and monitoring cleaning and catering standards, following up with any issues with non-compliance
  • Build working relationships with catering and cleaning employees to ensure the smooth running of the facilities for clients
  • Working with HR on recruitment needs
  • Diary management – booking out offices, facility rooms and accommodation rooms as required
  • Liaise with maintenance team for any work required on site
  • Assisting in all areas of the Welfare facilities when required to make sure that the cleaning and catering needs are met
  • Provide progress updates, including reporting and raising any concerns, to company Directors and Port Manager, including any health & safety concerns
  • Manage and support communication channels with key clients on site
  • Administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the reception area

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, management experience from other backgrounds will be considered
  • Knowledge of MS Office; particularly excel and outlook
  • Confident, professional manner;
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to think ahead and regularly cope with new/unexpected circumstances and tight deadlines.
