We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Service Finance Team, which provides professional financial support and advice to services, senior officers and elected Members.
Your role will include working with services to prepare budgets, to close down accounts at year-end and to monitor performance against budgets throughout the year, as well as producing reconciliations and ad hoc financial information.
About you:
You will have practical knowledge of financial work and ideally will be Association of Accounting Technicians qualified or will have passed at least one stage of a CCAB qualification or have a relevant degree. You will be highly numerate with good analytical and communication skills and will have a good eye for detail. You will also work well as part of a team, be able to use Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate an interest in public sector finance.
