Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £23,000 – £23,920 depending on experience

Job type: Full time – Permanent

We stock a large selection of Fifth Wheel and Travel Trailers from leading American RV manufacturers.

About the role:

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team. As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for overseeing a number of responsibilities listed below.

Key tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Gathering all relevant information for raising of Invoices/Statements
  • Creating invoices
  • Creating Statements
  • Purchase ledger
  • Paying Suppliers
  • Matching POs with quotes
  • Use of Sage
  • Credit control
  • Other administrative and finance duties as and when required by the Office Manager
  • Filing

The ideal candidate:

  • Someone who has experience of using Sage 50 Accounts
  • Successful candidates will have at least 12 months experience in an accounts role
  • You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • You will be highly computer literate
  • You must be capable of multi-tasking reliably in a busy office environment
  • Show high levels of client confidentiality
  • Have previous experience in a high-volume invoice processing department
  • Be able to manage all aspects of accounts/credit control as part of a team
  • Have the desire to learn and develop your skills – this role does provide ongoing training as the department grows
