Job Title: Accounts Senior

Salary: £26,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Job Type: Permanent/Full Time – 35 hours per week Mon-Thurs 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
Myersons is a well-established accountancy practice in based in Ormskirk. We are looking for an Accounts Senior to join the team.
This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking accountancy practice who prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, including preparation of company tax returns. In addition, as part of this role you will also be preparing personal tax returns and also management accounts.
We are looking for someone who will be qualified by experience or studying for AAT/ACCA. With longer term plans to develop the services provided and grow the practice you’ll be joining a team committed to providing a pro-active service to all current and future clients.
The Candidate:
What we need from you;
- At least 5 years’ experience in practice
- Must be up to date technically
- Demonstrable ability in the use of accounting software packages
- Experience in audit preferred but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail, delivering right first time, quality work
- A commitment to keep up to date with relevant changes to the profession
- Ability to work under pressure to meet a range of deadlines
- Hardworking and passionate about the role and the service we provide
