Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Location: Guisborough

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Job type: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week or Job share

Key Tasks

  • To plan and organise daily activities, providing a varied and interesting program within the capabilities of the residents of Belmont View / Gracelands
  • To plan and organise functions for important events i.e., Resident’s birthdays, Christmas, Bonfire Night, Easter.
  • To plan and organise outside agencies/entertainers to visit the home.
  • To plan and organise trips and outings.
  • All the above should be planned and carried out after discussion with the Manager.
  • All requests for expenditure to be carried out with the Manager.
  • All requests for any food products should be made to the manager.
  • Ensure completion of all relevant paperwork in timescales and to the standards outlined by management.
  • Always ensure the care / support delivered is done so in line with the resident’s care plan.
  • Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g., physical, emotional, and spiritual).
  • Provide attention when needed, whilst ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity.
  • Report on the wellbeing of Residents as well as any changes to resident’s needs.
  • Ensure full privacy and dignity is maintained for the dying and the bereaved.
  • Escort Residents traveling to and from home e.g., shopping, on social outings / hospital visits etc., as, and when required.
  • Ensure as far as possible the security of the home.
