The Role

Huntington Ross Ltd is seeking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to join our team. This role would report to the Business Manager, but day to day undertake administration directed by our Advisers. This role will be based in the office at Middlethorpe Business Park, YO23 2BD.

Main Responsibilities

  • Arranging client appointments by telephone, email or post
  • Booking and preparing the meeting room for client meetings
  • Collating new client or review packs in preparation for client meetings
  • Processing paperwork following client meetings
  • Documenting and recording product valuations
  • General administration and filing
  • Where needed assist the office administrator in other day-to-day operations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Able to manage their time well
  • Have existing effective administrative skills
  • Able to develop rapport with the staff as well as clients both in person and on the telephone.
  • Able to work effectively in a small team
  • Be computer confident
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services sector (Desirable but not essential)
  • An understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority’s compliance requirements (Desirable but not essential)
  • Please note you will be required to sign a Staff Declaration confirming your adherence with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Handbook and with the Huntington Ross Ltd. compliance procedures, as directed by our Compliance Officer.
