Job Title: Analyst within people service

Location: Hybrid between Liverpool and remote working

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Job Description:

To support our ongoing people strategy, we are looking for a creative and motivated Analyst to capture, analyse and convert people related data into value-adding information with additional insight to aid business decision making.

You will have a passion for using figures to tell a story and as a skilled analyst you will be confident in your delivery across many levels. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across our core business and to identify and develop solutions which will improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our current people MI and present solid recommendations to our leadership team.

You will play a vital role in researching and presenting people data, developing ad hoc reports or metrics, writing detailed reports for management, troubleshooting data, coaching new team members, designing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring fully compliance with data privacy guidelines.

What you will be doing:

• Become involved with the delivery of our people strategy to develop a selection of reporting solutions which enables the stakeholder to use data and metrics to both ‘tell the story’ of the initiative and support theoretical decision making.
• Maintain and create standardised dashboards, bespoke ad-hoc report creation using data from multiple base data sources and/or analytics to provide intelligent management information, presented in an accessible way.
• Be responsible for the monthly cyclical reporting calendar
• Be responsible for ensuring the HR System holds accurate and meaningful data which gives the level of insight needed to produce the detail we require.
• Systems Expert – become a subject matter expert and super user for our HR system and built in reporting pack
• Make recommendations around enhancements to processes and reporting suites to ensure that the team can continue to work effectively and proactively

What we’re looking for:

• Analytical mind set – Ability to manipulate and translate a large volume of MI and Data into meaningful solutions.
• Systems analysis – Be able to quickly understand how databases, systems and processes work, always seeking to improve efficiencies as well as making the most of the information available
• MI and Data management – Strong operational capabilities across the Microsoft office suite and MI applications with advanced excel skills
• Excellent communication skills – be able to translate data and information in a way which is non-technical and meaningful to the business and communicate this to stakeholders across all communication channels
• Experience with HR system Dayforce
• Experience of implementing different elements of Dayforce, such as performance, engagement etc
• Experience of building custom forms and work flows within Dayforce
• Experience of creating custom reports within Dayforce
