Job Title: Assistant to Chief Risk Officer & Chief Executive’s Office

Location: Remote/Hybrid. Must be able to travel into the office on a regular basis (Exeter)

Salary: Depending on experience + Company Bonus + Great Benefits

Job type: Monday to Friday 9-5, Full time, Permanent, Flexible working hours can be considered

The Role:

We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant to the Chief Risk Officer & the Chief Executive’s Office to join us at The Exeter.

Supporting the PA to CEO and CRO and providing well-organised day-to-day administrative support to assist in the smooth running of business demands. This role will assist in the management of risk within the company by offering the best service, bearing in mind confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy.

The successful candidate will be someone with strong attention to detail, an articulate, skilled relationship builder with a can-do attitude and a confident problem solver, with initiative and resourcefulness to achieve resolutions. This interesting and varied role would suit someone with experience in a similar setting looking to progress within the Financial Services industry.

About You

CRO

  • Acting as first point of contact for the CRO, providing administrative support.
  • Assisting with preparation of Risk Management reports, sourcing MI from other departments and external sources as directed by the CRO.
  • Preparing, collating, and circulating papers for the CRO’s meetings, such as (i) Climate Change, and (ii) Business Continuity Management Systems & Operational Resilience Project Steering Group. Taking and producing accurate minutes.
  • Managing the CRO’s responsibilities to the Information Asset Register and Contracts List, ensuring all deadlines are highlighted and effectively managed.
  • Managing the CRO’s diary, arranging internal and external meetings, including travel, accommodation and hospitality as required.
  • Liaising with colleagues at all levels and external business contacts.
  • Checking and managing invoices and preparing expenses using Concur.

CEO Office

  • Assisting with managing The Exeter’s sponsorship of Theatre Royal Plymouth.
  • Working closely with the PA to CEO and providing day-to-day support.
  • Assisting with collating Exco papers and saving to Board Works.
  • Assisting with meetings support at Lakeside House and with arrangements for external events such as Exco offsite meetings.
  • Assisting with managing various MS Teams groups, uploading papers, preparing helpful resources, and filing appropriately.
  • Working collaboratively with the PA Group.
