Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time. Hours: 45-50 hours per week.
The Liffey is synonymous with the iconic Grand Central building, and you would have the opportunity to be part of the exciting reopening of one of Liverpool’s iconic grade 2 listed buildings. The Liffey Sports and Social Pub will offer a vibrant, lively and fun environment, with live music, we are looking to create a one-of-a-kind, high end, go to venue in the city centre.

The Role/Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bar Supervisor to assist the Bar Manager in reopening this renowned venue. You will be used to high volume and delivering high standards whilst working under pressure. You’ll motivate, educate and inspire the team to deliver the best customer experience in a unique place of work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the bar and staff operate efficiently
- Upholding high hygiene standards
- Training staff
- Helping to create weekly work schedules
- Maintaining inventory and stock
- Helping to enforce quality and safety controls
- Working with diverse personalities both within the staff and customers
- Helping plan and taking part in promotional events
- Being the “go to person” for all day-to-day queries
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bar Supervisor/Bartender minimum of 4 years’ experience in the industry
- Has a real authentic desire to develop from within
- Passionate about the hospitality industry
- Experience in a busy, fast paced business
- High energy, sociable and outgoing
