Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: Dependant on Experience + Commission – £60K OTE
Job Type: Full Time, 37hrs p/w
Company Profile:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead a new phase of company growth in CAE engineering services. In this role you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building profitable relationships with domestic and international clients.
Engenuity is an engineering consultancy specialising in material test, characterisation, structural analysis and development. The company has a varied portfolio of customers in automotive, aerospace, transportation, materials science, marine, heavy industry and defence, dealing with metallic and composite structures.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities for Engenuity’s engineering services.
- Lead sales outreach and presentations to showcase Engenuity’s capabilities.
- Build relationships with potential customers and collaborators.
- Sell FEA and materials characterisation solutions.
- Proactively manage new sales accounts.
- Work closely with the technical team to develop customer focussed proposals.
- Report progress via CRM and sales meetings.
Desired Skills and requirements:
- Experience of sales in any of the following industries.
-Automotive engineering.
-Aerospace engineering.
-Composite materials.
-Or similar technical sector.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Experience of proactively developing a sales pipeline.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Good working knowledge of structures, FEA and materials.
