The Harrogate Caravan Park is truly, a very special place, and we are looking to add two wardens to our team for the 2023 season.

Located on the outskirts of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, the Harrogate Caravan Park is a well-established and well-reviewed 67 pitch touring site for motorhomes, caravans and tents. The season runs from March through to the end of October and we are looking for two candidates to join the team. These roles are NMW, PAYE employed positions.

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Welcoming guests and ensuring they are met with a smile and positivity! Standards of customer service must be kept on all occasions of contact
  • Processing bookings using an on-line booking system (the system we use is Anytime; training on this system will be given)
  • Promptly and efficiently dealing with enquires, be this face-2-face, by phone or by email
  • Handling payments and doing basic bookkeeping
  • Regular cleaning to an outstanding level, of onsite facilities including shower and toilet facilities
  • General maintenance, ensuring the park is always in tip top order, safe and cared for!
  • Grounds/pitch maintenance, including grass/hedge cutting, leaf collecting, basic DIY etc
  • Liaising with and being a part of the wider team on the Great Yorkshire Showground

Applicants must be fit and able to perform all duties at peak times this can be demanding.

Working Hours:

Hours may vary between 9am and 8pm, but we are looking to cover 3 days a week and include 3 nights on call whilst on site (accommodation can be provided for this). The working pattern will be discussed at interview.

About you:

This is a hands-on role and the successful applicants will need to liaise closely with the whole team and our customers; a friendly, upbeat and approachable manner is essential.

Having excellent standards of customer service is paramount! As is being able to work in a team, and autonomously.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage although not essential as we are fully prepared to coach and train you into the role.
