About the Role:
Be part of a team that has a crucial part to play to keep the Harrogate district safe.
Harrogate’s CCTV system makes a major contribution to the safety of our streets – but it’s only as good as the small team of operatives who staff the control room. Your vigilance, initiative and sense will make all the difference: cameras may see everything, but they can’t make decisions – you can.
You will support retail and nighttime economy members of the Radiolink scheme that operates across the Harrogate district by sharing intelligence and responding to live incidents.
We work a 24-hour shift system based on a 37-hour working week.
About you:
You’ll receive full training on using the equipment, reviewing digital evidence, maintaining daily logs, use of radios and other duties.
You will however need experience of computer-based systems, pass the police vetting process and undergo an eye test.
