Job Title: Claims Handler Apprentice

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £15.7k per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours between 9am-5:30pm

About the role:

We are looking for a Claims Handler Apprentice to join our energetic First Response Unit who has a positive and proactive approach and is excited by a challenge.

We want a Claims Handler who is:

  • Focused on providing outstanding customer service by asking questions and listening to client responses, by resolving customer queries quickly and by providing the right solution, first time.
  • A confident communicator who has good sales, negotiation and persuasion skills and can manage challenging conversations.
  • Empathic, respectful, and able to connect with people.
  • Capable of thinking on their feet, solving problems and making fast, informed decisions.
  • A team player who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and understands the importance of their role and the role of others in their team.
  • Adept at keeping their product knowledge up to date.
  • Able to use a range of software packages.
  • Organised, able to prioritise and multitask with a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.

During the apprenticeship, you will:

  • Work with a Training and Development Coach to develop a professional development plan that is personalised to your needs.
  • Attend monthly, face-to-face, or online Masterclasses on topics such problem solving, customer service and delivering results.
  • Receive 1:1 support from Coaches who have significant experience of being a customer services adviser within the financial sector.
  • Get six-hours of study time, away from your desk, per week.
  • Be able to attend workshops and guest speaker seminars.
