Job Title: Client Engagement Coordinator – West Midlands

Salary: £27,275 (Increasing to £31,059 following successful completion of a 6 months’ probation period)

Location: West Midlands

Job Type: Fixed term contract until June 2025 – Full Time

We are currently looking for Client Engagement Coordinators to join our dedicated and compassionate Strategic Programmes team, on a fixed term contract. There will be a potential for the role to be made permanent or be extended.

The successful candidate will be reflective and organised, have demonstrable experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners and be passionate about protecting our vulnerable clients.

Migrant Help is seeking an experienced employability professional to fulfil this exciting new role. You will be responsible for brokering and managing relationships between partners that engage with our clients such as refugee support organisations, housing, skills and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers, which will benefit the participants and provide greater levels of cohesion between services.

The Client Engagement Coordinator will act as a consistent and stable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, developing relationships with local partner In this role, you will work to maintain and develop relationships with targeted stakeholders, partners and community groups to drive referrals to the programme and drive engagement. This is an engaging role requiring communication and influencing skills, as well as a good understanding of the needs of refugees living in the West Midlands.

As the Client Engagement Coordinator your duties would include:

  • Responsible for brokering and managing relationships between partners that engage with our clients such as refugee support organisations, housing, skills and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers, which will benefit the participants and provide greater levels of cohesion between services
  • Maintain and develop relationships with targeted stakeholders, partners and community groups to drive referrals to the programme and drive engagement
  • Identify appropriate stakeholders and provide information and guidance on the support available through the Refugee Employability Programme. Representing Migrant Help at appropriate community and other promotional events
  • Plan and implement the delivery of partnership events to ensure effective and close partnership working between Migrant Help and wider stakeholders and partners
  • Undertake planning and delivery of events and activities in support of generating referrals for potential participant groups
  • Identify new opportunities within the sector that align with Migrant Help’s strategic aims and goals
  • Liaise with partner organisations to generate client referrals to the REP
  • Actively work with third party providers to ensure relevant specialist services are accessible to the participants
  • Optimise opportunities across multiple platforms to engage our clients

The experience and skills you need:

  • Strong ability to problem-solve, research information and solutions, and strong ability to take initiative
  • Ability to reflect on ways to continuously improve service delivery
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and databases; particularly in making and keeping accurate and timely records
  • Awareness of, and commitment to, confidentiality and GDPR data protection
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, both individually and in a team
