Job Title: Client Services Assistant

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: Up to 20K pro rata

Job type: Permanent – Ideally, we are looking for full-time hours, but flexible hours would be considered for the right candidate

We are Prism eLogistics (UK) Ltd a business based in Basingstoke Hampshire, providing storage, fulfilment, pick & pack, ecommerce, secondary contract packing and distribution services.

We are part of the Spearpoint Security Group a Singapore based investment group, who are providing major investment for us to expand in the world of ecommerce.

Our focus is providing exceptional service to our clients – from the moment an item of stock is received at our warehouse our clients have total visibility, through our online warehouse management system, which provides 24-hour control of stock held and orders processing. We operate a total open, transparent, and seamless warehousing and production operation and we strive to stay committed, flexible and accurate. This means we are not content with just standing still, but constantly looking for efficiencies to improve everything we do, for the benefit of our clients.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Client Services Assistant to report to the Client Services Supervisor to strive to provide a first-class client experience. From daily monitoring of orders, through pick & pack to shipment and delivery. You will need to demonstrate good problems solving skills along with project management of production jobs, making sure we have completed clients’ tasks within the client’s timescale.

Your Responsibilities

  • Making sure every client gets their orders out on time
  • Making sure all client’s orders are delivered on time, chasing carriers re delays
  • Engaging personality and seamless interaction with clients & onboarding new clients
  • Managing the end-to-end projects always looking to enhance the service offering
  • Monitoring back orders
  • Booking deliveries where required
  • Managing Returns
  • Supporting Operations in the Service Delivery

The Candidate:

  • Fulfilment, pick & pack, eCommerce experience and passion
  • Ambition, energy, drive and a motivation to succeed
  • Strong understanding of, and ability to manage, client accounts and timings
  • B2B and B2C project delivery
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
  • Impressive customer focus and comprehensive product knowledge
  • A natural way with people and instinct for knowing how to exceed expectations
  • Experience working within an operational team

Basic Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE Maths & English, grade C standard or above (or equivalent qualification)
  • You will be dedicated, taking personal responsibility for, meeting and exceeding goals
  • Demonstrate both analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Always focused on providing our clients with an exceptional service
  • Maintain a ‘can do will do’ and a ‘client first’ culture
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator, you can handle multiple, occasionally conflicting tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to train and learn new skills
  • A strong people person, able to earn trust
  • Able to handle both long and short-term multiple tasks, demonstrate a can-do approach whilst working in a fast paced, occasionally confusing environment with many conflicting priorities and client requests
  • You demonstrate keen attention to detail, initiative and proactivity, and always insist on the highest standards
  • Comfortable challenging the norm, you are always looking for ways to continuously improve and optimise processes
  • You are flexible – willing and able to work flexible schedules, outside of your regular hours to support the needs of our clients
  • No task is too small – you roll up your sleeves to get on with the job in hand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within storage, fulfilment, pick & pack, eCommerce, secondary contract packing and distribution services, would be beneficial to your application, but not necessary
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office and its application
  • Able to work within KPIs and metrics, being able to analyse large data sets to understand trends and look for improved efficiencies
