Job Title: Client Solutions Analyst

Location: Home and the company office in the City of London. Occasional visits to Bournemouth and short trips to visit clients / trade shows in the USA and Europe.

Salary: £40,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

At MIS, our Client Solutions Analysts are at the heart of what we do. Our product is focussed on the insurance industry and in order to better support our clients, we hire the people who know the insurance industry best, and who demonstrate an interest in the market.

Our CSAs are the contact point for all our insurance clients; resolving tech queries, enabling intelligence conversations and supporting their day-to-day needs. Furthermore, they support clients in their interpretation and application of MIS Intelligence Grid.

Job Duties:

  • Design and perform insight analysis on the client’s exposure and claims portfolios on a regular basis.
  • Be responsible for all material being sent to clients (outside of the main intelligence portal).
  • Act as the voice of the client internally – this will involve working closely with the Head of Product on the Product Roadmap.
  • Support MIS Technical Development team as they continue to refine the core product, ensuring it meets client expectations.
  • Work closely with MIS Intelligence Analysts as they continually evolve the MIS Intelligence Grid, ensuring that any output is ready for client consumption.
  • Demo the product on a regular basis in support of the sales process.
  • Engage in client and market events such as conferences and industry programmes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Have a Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline
  • Have experience working for/with (Re)insurers and understand claims processes
  • Have an ability to deliver high quality analytical output
  • Operate with an innovative mindset when finding client solutions whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail
  • Have experience holding technical conversations with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Have an understanding of insurance Risk Data structure
  • Have a desire to work in a scale-up organisation
  • Have a passion for geospatial and location data

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of the main exposure management dataset formats
  • Familiarity with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel
  • Coding experience (preferably Python)
