About us:
The award winning Colony Grill Room is looking for an ambitious and energetic Commis Chef to join our ever growing Kitchen team.
The successful candidate will be ready to learn working closely with an inspiring, creative team and have the opportunity to work with the finest suppliers using exceptional quality and seasonal produce. You will also assist with setting up the mise en place, creating excellent dishes and Afternoon Tea with the support of the Senior Kitchen team.
Our ideal Commis Chef will have:
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Basic culinary knowledge with a genuine interest in learning and developing your skills
- High standards of cleanliness and food preparation
- Enthusiasm to succeed and challenge yourself within a busy kitchen
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible
- Close following of Health and Safety guidelines
- Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently
