Job Title: Consumable Sales Person

Location: London Hammersmith (with some travel requirements)

Salary: 28K-33K depending on experience

Job type: Full Time/Permanent

The role:

ET2C is looking for a Consumables Sales Manager based in the UK. The successful candidates will have excellent contacts and a network of companies selling consumer products within the UK, and potentially in other markets also. They will be responsible for working with the CEO and Marketing Director to implement and execute the sales plan for ET2C’s Consumables business unit.

The main categories covered within this business unit are:

  • Pet Products
  • Shoes
  • BBQ accessories
  • Medical (including Nappy Ranges)
  • Furniture
  • Homewares
  • Lighting
  • Kitchen Accessories
  • Garden products

Essential Responsibilities

  • Must bring contacts with wholesalers, distributors and brands, that can be immediately leveraged for additional revenue.
  • Personable, Dynamic and Organised, working with other teams within the company to open new opportunities for the business.
  • Cold calling, emailing and networking as a means of growing potential business.
  • Planning customer visits and meetings, and conducting customer visits, providing customers with value-added services
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of ET2C services knowledge and available in-house brands.
  • Implementing company sales strategy and plan.
  • Achieving annual and quarterly sales target within a given cost budget.
  • Developing and implementing account penetration strategies for key targets and competitive accounts.
  • Providing assistance in tendering and distribution management.
  • Collecting and verifying market information for micro and macro market analysis.

Qualifications

  • College degree or above
  • 4+ years sales experience
  • Proven customer acumen and relationship building skills in a specific industry environment
  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region depending on business needs as well as to sales meetings and tradeshows
  • Experience of manufacturing and sourcing products overseas to understand the challenges that potential clients may face, and implement strategies to overcome them to convert business.
  • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
  • Strong motivation to achieve and exceed the goals
