The Role:

The successful candidate will enhance the customer service experience and meet their bespoke requirements, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager, ideally with a technical background and an understanding of generator products and services.

This is an autonomous role providing scope to make it your own and create robust process around the contract requirements, with opportunity to shape and define future contracts.

What you’ll do

  • Management of key maintenance and service contracts e.g. National Grid Electric.
  • Responsibility for the profitable delivery of major contracts in line with contractual SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Provide and manage the contract delivery schedule with associated forecast and financial spend.
  • Arrange and attend customer contract review meetings and support CRM submittals.
  • Attend customer site visits for technical and commercial meetings.
  • Have overall responsibility for managing the client asset data including asset condition assessment and status reports.
  • Understand technical requirements of the contract and the compliances to deliver the contract.
  • Understand and develop parts requirements for the service and remedial aspects of the contract delivery.
  • Work with the sales and quotes teams to understand maintenance delivery and remedial requirements.
  • Assist with service related tender submissions.
  • Support the service coordinators with planning and technical issues.
  • Management of contract specific subcontractor visits and performance.
  • Provide support and guidance to engineers regarding parts required to complete work on first visit for remedial works.
  • Work with the service engineer team leaders to develop and deliver contract specific standards, toolbox talk and service bulletins.
  • Identify and assist in the delivery of contract specific training requirements.
  • Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post.
  • Candidate Requirements:

Ideally you will have experience of critical power in a service environment. You will also have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ time served in similar contract management.

This role requires a confident, effective communicator, with strong organisation and leadership skills who is comfortable promoting the corporate image to our leading customers.
