Job Title: Contracts & Finance Manager

Location: Surbiton, Surrey

Salary: £40,000per annum

Job type: Full time

We are looking to hire immediately a Full-time person (M-F 7:30am -4:30 pm) based in our Surbiton Office for the Role of Contracts & Finance Manager supporting the Directors and Financial Controller.

Our company is a Market Leader in Urban Greening. We combine nature with technology and provide services such as living walls, living pillars, micro forests, landscape construction & grounds maintenance.

We work with architects, designers, commercial businesses, government and private clients.

The Candidate:

  • The person that we are looking for should hold a minimum experience of 3+ years and have personal attributes of being highly ambitious, driven and motivated to be successful in this key role by providing impeccable administrative and financial support to Senior Management.
  • The person should be confident and have a high degree of Attention to detail as well as being proficient in Numeracy, Excel (Advanced Level) Sage, Eque2 software packages and reporting of Management Account information for multiple companies.
  • Experience dealing with VAT, CIS and DRC Tax matters would also be advantageous too.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulating, capturing and implementing contractual issues – i.e., Building Jobs, Time-sheets, Coding & Inputting of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Negotiating contract terms with both internal and external entities
  • Reviewing existing contracts and updating them – Logging Site Audits & Contract Values, Updating Projected Sales & Sales Trackers
  • Monitoring contractual performance using spreadsheets and electronic document management systems (EDMS) via numerous Excel spreadsheets.
  • Analysing risks associated with specific contract terms i.e., Billing of works
  • Creating language standards for new contract documents or existing ones
  • Providing detailed reporting to the involved parties at the end of a contract
  • Administering and managing financial records, invoices, credits and final accounts as per project requirement in relation to Customer contracts, Payroll; Monthly and Annual MA information, Expenses, WIP, Journals. Stock Control
