The Role

We are looking for an experienced control panel engineer/electrician to join their skilled team. The role is based around the core business of Industrial Refrigeration, on projects of varying size.

The successful applicant would be working alongside our experienced team -The role incorporates both a workshop environment and on site works throughout the UK, carrying out control panel manufacture from layout to the final testing, the role will also require on site installation works, commissioning, and modifications at various site locations

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering and wiring of various types of control panels within our workshop facility, to provided wiring schematics
  • Be able to electrically test the panels power & controls on completion
  • Attend sites to carry out minor electrical installations, panel modifications & fault finding

Personal Specification:

  • Industrial electrical & mechanical Background
  • Control panel manufacture
  • Electrical maintenance background would be beneficial
  • Experience in controls, VSD & motors
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Able to read and understand control panel schematics
  • Be adaptable to work location on a fairly regular basis
  • Minimum 2 years ‘time served’ experience
  • Full UK driving licence.
