Job Title: Customer Sales Advisor

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £18k-£25k (dependant on experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

With over ten years of experience in the accounting and CRM software sector, Softext is a UK leading business partner for both Sage and Act! Our portfolio includes Sage 50cloud Accounts software, Act! CRM software, and a range of add-ons to enhance the usability of the software.

The role: Softext are currently seeking an experienced Sales Consultant who is looking for full time work. Candidate must demonstrate strong skills in all aspects of the role, including pro-actively generating sales opportunities, cold calling, following-up leads and establishing/managing new and existing relationships. Ability to establish relationships and build rapport on the telephone with decision makers e.g. Finance Directors, Managing Directors, Operations Directors etc

This position will involve a large amount of customer, client and supplier contact so good telephone manner is essential along with outstanding communication skills. The hours of work are from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure achievement of new business revenue targets through outbound calling and inbound traffic
  • Receive and process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Make your customers aware of current promotions and cross sell across the product range
  • Amend and update customers contact details accurately on the internal CRM system
  • Take internal call traffic and support the Softext office in both sales and other areas
  • Build customer relationships (New and Existing) through quality conversations
  • Respond to emails within a set SLA
  • General Administration duties
  • Any other request deemed reasonable in the role to support the Managing Director

The Candidate:

  • Live near Tamworth – no more than a 45 minute drive
  • Ability to cold call New Business Prospects on a daily basis
  • Clear and concise telephone manner
  • Effective Time Management skills
  • Excellent IT and Communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work autonomously 90% of the time
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills are desired
  • Enthusiastic and personable within a small office environment
  • High ethics and standards
  • Flexible and Enthusiastic
  • Ability to consistently meet targets

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years proven track record in an Outbound Sales environment
  • Experience of Sage internal and external systems is advantageous
  • Experience of using and understanding the Sage 50 and ACT! Product Range is preferred
