Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Towcester

Salary: £21,000 – £24,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job type: Permanent, Full Time. 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday 08:30am – 5:00pm with an hour lunch break.

Closing date: 23rd March 2023.

Solventis Solutions Limited (SSL) is a small but profitable distributor of automotive fluid (coolants, lubricants and AdBlue) to the bus, truck and rail industries in the UK and Ireland. The company has recently been purchased by Solventis Limited and will be showing a turnover in the region of £20m this year.

The Role:

Solventis Solutions, part of the Solventis group, is looking for a Customer Services Advisor to join their Customer Services team based in their modern offices in Towcester, Northampton.

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly established team where full training will be given.

Working within the customer services team, you will be responsible for processing sales orders and dealing with customer queries and complaints. You will also work closely with suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receipt & processing of customer orders onto Sage 200 system
  • Daily stock takes – 3 UK Warehouses
  • Manage the ‘Customer Telematic System’
  • Dealing with customer queries & enquiries
  • Processing sales returns & logging them onto the non-conformance log
  • Manage customer calls daily
  • Work closely with suppliers through B2B Order Processing, inc. chasing & querying orders
  • Office administrative tasks as set by line manager

What we need from you:

Essential –

  • Previous customer service experience essential
  • Driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Microsoft office programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working within a team

It is important that you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal with difficult customers
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and balance many tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
  • or work independently
  • Friendly, approachable, confident, and can-do attitude with strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability – priorities for this role can change quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team
