The role:

If you have exceptional customer service and organisational skills, can work well under pressure and are looking for progression, we want you in our team. We are looking for new team members who will be responsible for obtaining references on prospective tenants and guarantors, assessing documents which support applications. You will be making an important informed conclusion on the information received. This is a fast-paced job that requires attention to detail and plenty of initiative. You will be spending most of your day on the phone so it is important that you are articulate and confident to deal with clients at all levels over the phone.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Ensure all applications submitted are administered according to criteria and company policy, to a satisfactory conclusion within the service level agreement. Day to day responsibilities:

  • Chase references with an aim to conclude files within service level agreement.
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls and emails sufficiently.
  • To be able to prioritise your own workloads according to the service level agreements set and work to deadlines.
  • To ensure file and system records are kept fully up to date, within timescales and to company standard.
  • To provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Maintain relationships with customers, improving customer journey and customer retention.
  • Observe all current legislation such as UK GDPR.

The Candidate:

  • Customer Service experience (Preferred) 1 year plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outgoing personality, strong judgment, tact, and diplomacy to handle difficult and challenging clients over the phone.
  • Listens well and understands our client requirements.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment.

(Applicants must live in or around our Portsmouth Office for the training period and Hybrid working option where 2 days a week attendance at the office is expected)
