Job Title: DaTS Systems Analyst

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary: £32,909 – £37,261 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

At Walsall Council, we have evolved our ICT department into ‘Digital and Technology Services’ (DaTS) and have an exciting opportunity to appoint a driven Systems Analyst to join the growing Enterprise Architecture team.

We are looking for hands-on, motivated and innovative people with a strong attention for detail and a passion for technology to understand and deliver on business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from across the business to cultivate Walsall Council’s enterprise architecture in line with the organisation’s Corporate Plan and Digital Strategy.

We’ll need you to:

  • Define standards and processes within the Enterprise Architecture team
  • Elicit, document, analyse, validate and manage the business requirements of internal customers
  • Plan, prepare, execute and support user acceptance testing
  • Manage stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions and supporting materials
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, process mapping sessions, etc
  • Champion technical innovation, evolution and growth
  • Inspire the development of the organisation’s architecture
  • Demonstrate a passion for continued personal/professional development
