Job Title: Large Format Digital Print Operator / Print Finisher / Sign Maker
Location: Poulton le Fylde, Blackpool
Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
This sign and print company based in Poulton Le Fylde and are currently seeking experienced large format print operators and print finishers/sign maker to work on a full time, permanent basis.
About the role:
This role will primarily involve the day to day running of our wide format printers and cutters as well as getting involved in general production and preparation of signage and graphic products.
You would be working alongside our experienced production team in producing a variety of printed products as well as getting involved in general production and preparation of signage and associated POS products.
This is a varied job in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to learn new skills and become an important part of the team.
About you:
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in operating large format printing and finishing equipment. Be familiar with Adobe Illustrator and the use of RIP software.
You’ll need to have experience in print finishing, ideally in digital print and signage industry.
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Have previous experience in a similar role (essential)
- Must be competent in amending artwork using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and the use of RIP software
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Have good spoken and written English skills
- Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, a positive, can-do attitude
- Have some experience working with hand tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to overcome challenges
