Job Title: Domestic Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Term Time only + 4 additional weeks
Working Hours: 9 – 3 Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) but various work patterns will be considered

Great Walstead School is a thriving co-educational independent preparatory school situated in the heart of Sussex for children aged 2½ – 13 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of classrooms, offices, sports hall, changing rooms, toilets, corridors and ancillary areas
- Preparation and cleaning of the dining room at lunchtime.
- Cleaning touch points hourly
- Maintaining the serving counters to a high standard of cleanliness during lunchtime and washing up
- Helping to serve and support the children at lunchtime.
- Ensuring stocks of hand sanitiser are maintained around site
- Other domestic duties as required
To be successful in the role you will have/be:
Essential
- Good standard of basic education
- Have a high standard of personal cleanliness and tidiness
- Have the ability to work with others as part of a team and to respond to emergencies
Desirable
- Certificate of Basic Food Hygiene
- Previous experience in a similar role
