The Impact You Will Have:
You’ll be immersed in an experienced and dynamic environment where every day you’ll be managing the operational daily checks to ensure quality of service.
You will manage consignments by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, this will include checking import and export consignments on a daily basis to find out ETAs for collections and deliveries. You will build and develop relationships with suppliers to build loyalty as well as always ensuring the company offers the best customer service experience. A Typical Day:
- Checking with external stakeholders that shipments have been collected and delivered as per our agreements. You will also be required to obtain proof of deliveries.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage service level agreements.
- Reviewing each suppliers Key Performance Indicators.
- Managing and dealing your workload with an entrepreneurial focus.
- Providing proactive communication to internal and external stakeholders and have a problem-solving focus towards your work.
- Developing and maintaining key supplier relationships to support business growth by building rapport and finding efficiencies within our working processes.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders via telephone when negotiating, developing relationships and finding solutions.
- Ensuring Baxter Freight is legally compliant for all aspects of each consignment by ensuring documentation is checked, compliant and recorded where necessary.
Is this the Role for you?
- You must have a 2:1 degree or you have previous experience in a similar role and working environment.
- You must have demonstrated experience working in an office environment.
- You must have excellent communication skills.
- You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft programs, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.
- You must possess exceptional customer service skills.
- You must be confident picking up the phone and speaking with internal and external stakeholders.
