Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: London – Remote Working.

Salary: £24,400 per year. Increasing to £26,522 after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.

Job type: Full Time, Permanent. 35 hours per week. Remote working position.

The Role:

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our enthusiastic and communicative Asylum Services team, on a Permanent Contract.

The purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient administrative support within our Asylum Services for the Director and Deputy Directors. They will be responsible for minuting meetings, attended by senior staff, commissioners and trustees. In addition, they will be required to provide executive support as and when required by the Director / Deputy Directors of Asylum Services.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Minuting meetings with senior staff, commissioners and trustees in attendance
  • In addition, they will be required to minute team meetings and provide executive support to the the Director / Deputy Director of Asylum Services
  • Managing diaries, making travel arrangements and organising meetings
  • Clearly demonstrate and observe confidentiality and respect for boundaries
  • Promote equality, diversity and Migrant Help values in all actions and activities

Experience and skills:

  • Experience supporting multiple principles and balancing varying demands
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and databases; particularly in making and keeping accurate and timely records
  • Ability to plan forward and anticipate next steps Have high attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Demonstrable minuting skills
  • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information
