Job Title: Experienced Book-Keeper-Accounts Manager

Location: London, Finchley Central

Salary: £35k – £40k pro rate DOE

Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time (Hours 9.00 – 5.30pm)- Everyday in the office

An established Ladies Accessories and Garment Fashion Company, based in Finchley Central, London, N3 1XE, supplying numerous online and retail stores is seeking an experienced Book-Keeper to join their office with an immediate start, if possible.

To apply for this role, you will need experience of using Sage, preferably Sage 200 and be able to demonstrate strong credit control skills.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to start with immediate effect as this is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial reconciliations including bank and balance sheet control accounts.
  • Month end preparations & posting journal entries including prepayments & accruals, fixed assets & depreciation, payroll journal etc.
  • Preparation of quarterly management reporting P&L & variance analysis, balance sheet & cashflows.
  • Forecasting cashflow projections & annual budgeting preparation and reporting.
  • Manage annual accounts submissions and information for accountants.
  • Sales ledger processing and credit control duties.
  • Present financial information to the management team at monthly meetings from sage 200.
  • Purchase ledger & Supplier payments processing.
  • Daily cashflow reporting.
  • Report payroll details to Outsourcing Team
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Invoice discounting duties
  • Office Administration & Ad hoc duties.
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Sage 200 experience advantage
  • Highly organised and a high level of attention to detail, with ability to prioritise at short notice
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills
  • Able to deliver a quality service within required deadlines
  • Experience with HMRC / Government Gateway
  • 2 years + experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience an advantage
  • Good standard of excel.
