Job Title: Fabrics and Accessories Coordinator

Location: North West London

Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 depending upon experience

The Role

We are looking for a bright and motivated Fabrics & Accessories Co-ordinator to work as part of a small, but busy Sales Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the purchasing and distribution of fabrics and accessories, order management, showroom liaison, as well as general office duties.

The role would suit a design graduate with administrative or buying experience, wanting to progress their career within a creative, luxury design focused environment. The role would be based at the Savoir Beds head office and Bedworks in North West London (NW10, near Willesden Junction and North Acton stations).

Main Responsibilities

  • Purchase and distribution of all accessory and fabric orders for the business
  • Monitoring and maintaining accessory stock levels
  • Order processing and data entry, creating and updating records using in-house system
  • Checking inbound accessory and fabric deliveries, allocating and distributing as required
  • Online order fulfilment and dispatch
  • Sending fabric cuttings for approval (CFA) and confirming instructions for use
  • Arranging fabric FR treatment
  • Dealing with returns, exchanges and QC inspections
  • Maintaining sample library, fabric QC and accessory stockroom areas
  • Compiling and updating accessory and fabric price lists and specification sheets
  • Liaising with internal production, logistics and marketing teams
  • Liaising with suppliers to source fabrics
  • Assisting with photo shoots and showroom visual merchandising
  • Preparing showroom accessories and display items
  • Arranging domestic and international shipping and associated documents
  • Checking and signing off accessory, fabric, and courier invoices
  • Dealing with incoming calls and email correspondence
  • General filing and ad hoc office duties as required by the business

The Ideal Candidate

  • A background in Sales Administration, Customer Service or Buyers Administration
  • Experience within a furniture, fabrics, or interiors company desirable
  • Good organisational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy
  • A fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A good communicator, with excellent spoken and written English
  • Good IT skills, including strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • A self-starter who can work under own initiative
  • Degree or Diploma in a Design related discipline preferable
  • Keen interest in textiles, interiors and design essential
  • Languages welcome
