Job Title: Crane Technician
Location: London / Sussex
Salary: £34,476 – £36,500 plus Overtime.

The Position:
CraneServe continues to expand its client base across the UK and we are looking for Electrical / Mechanical engineers to join our business in London / Kent / Sussex.

The range of services offered to our customer bases is varied and you would be expected to be involved in the maintenance, repair, modernisation, installation and inspection of a range of lifting equipment including Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Heavy mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of company equipment
- Visiting client sites to make sure all equipment is working to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Working with Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment
The Candidate:
- Prior experience in the overhead crane / hoist industry is desirable;
- Ideally apprentice – trained or equivalent and fully conversant with electrical control systems;
- Hold a full driving licence;
- Good communication skills enabling efficient, effective communication with our customers and colleagues both orally and in writing;
- Physically fit and able to work at heights;
- Willingness to work additional hours during the week and at weekends,
- Proven safety record.
