Bruton Knowles LLP is an independently owned Chartered Surveying practice who provide a comprehensive range of surveying and property services.
We are looking to recruit a Finance Apprentice within our Corporate Finance Team.
The Position:
The purpose of the job is to provide support and assistance within the Finance team to ensure that all required services provided in the office are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
As part of this role the apprentice will attend Gloucestershire College, where they will study towards their Level 2 AAT apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications
- GCSE in Maths and English.
Responsibilities
- Receipt processing.
- Assisting with banking cash & cheques received.
- Dealing with invoices and client queries.
- Updating of financial documents and records
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure that issues are resolved promptly.
- Providing support in producing client statements & ad-hoc reports.
- Upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment.
- Completion of prospective client anti-money laundering due diligence.
- General office administration including scanning, filing, archiving and binding.
- Assisting with answering incoming calls.
- Ad-hoc duties as required within the Bruton Knowles Finance team.

The job will require someone who has the desire to pursue a career in Finance, who is proactive, willing to learn and develop in a friendly and supportive team as well as being committed to studying towards their Level 2 AAT.
Candidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Accounts Clerk, Finance Clerk, Bookkeeper, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Assistant Accountant, Financial Administrator, Accounts Admin, Finance Support, Junior Accountant will be considered for this role.
