Job Title: Fire & Security Engineering Apprentice(s)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £4.81 per hour (£192.40 per week + travel time & overtime outside of these hours)
Job type: Permanent, Full time. 08:00 to 16:30 Mon-Fri ON SITE (travel time excluded)
Contract Term (months): 36 months with a view to permanent

The Role:
Learning to install, repair and/or maintain different types of Fire & Security Systems.
You will be working in various locations mainly concentrated in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire areas.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting engineers with system installation.
- Assisting engineers with purchasing items.
- Assisting engineers with repairing items.
- Assisting engineers with health & safety matters.
The Person and Skills Required:
- English & Maths grade 5 or above.
- Positive outlook.
- Hardworking
- Cheerful
- Good clear communication skills.
- Good teamwork.
- Ability to take and act on instructions.
- IT skills (knowledge of word, excel, outlook, teams.
Training to be provided:
You will receive the following training in addition to the Apprenticeship Standard:
- In-house training on all company policies and procedures.
- Health & Safety Training.
- On the job practical experience.
