Zedify has some great financial backers and is going through a period of significant growth. We’re looking for a fleet manager to look after the supply and maintenance of our fleet across the Zedify network to ensure excellent service provision. You’ll also own the design, workflow and standards for our own manufactured cargo trikes.
The Role:
- Ensure that our fleet of cargo bikes and other vehicles are fully operational, legally compliant and safe (including risk assessments, battery H&S, etc)
- Provide product management for our own vehicle manufacturing, including managing supply chain, design modifications and production workflow
- Influence, network and respond to legal and regulatory requirements in the UK and EU and ensure compliance of fleet with the relevant legislation
- Maximise vehicle up time by implementing fleet & system improvements (including mechanical, electrical and technology systems)
- Manage mechanic teams across all Zedify hubs to include training, assessment and auditing
- Assess and optimise workshop facilities across all Zedify hubs
- Plan fleet capacity requirements & ensure build & supply programme
- Manage all stock, sourcing, purchasing, external suppliers and internal sales
Who we’re looking for:
- An experienced project and/or product manager
- Impeccable eye for detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Knowledge of cargobike industry and vehicles used for last mile delivery
- Have a strong sense of ownership, you set a high standard and are always looking to raise the bar further
- Track record of system and process improvement
- Happy to travel to hubs around the country
- Vehicle maintenance experience – a qualified mechanic or engineer would be desirable
- Experience in last mile deliveries would be advantageous
