Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager

Location: Ormskirk

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 subject to experience.

Job Type: Full Time – Permanent, 45 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B department to achieve the monthly budgets.
  • Prepare and deliver with the events team a successful events calendar delivered to a high standard.
  • Achieve and maintain 80% NPS score amongst member and customer feedback.
  • Support the events team with the delivery of internal and private functions.
  • Ensure full implementation of the company brand standards achieving 80% brand standards audit score.
  • Recruit, train and develop all FOH teams and supervisors using the HH Academy offered by our partners.
  • Prepare and delivery high value events and be present during peak periods.
  • Ensure GP and brand standards within the kitchen is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure marketing materials are on brand at all times as per the company CI manuals.
  • Maintain high standards of Health and Safety at all times.
  • Attend all scheduled shifts on time and as per the company’s employee handbook.
  • Foster a positive working environment within the company.
  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in F&B or Hospitality.
  • Maintain a valid DBS and safeguarding Certificate.
  • Maintain a valid alcohol license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Strong understand of running a strong F&B department with events and restaurant with circa £1.5million turnover
  • Good organisation and time management.
  • Solid understanding of computer software.
  • Maintain a strong presentation.
  • Good knowledge of modern-day food and drink trends.

Additional Notes:

  • The F&B manager is the HOD for the clubhouse including events, bar and scullery.
  • Candidate would be expected to work longer hours during peak times especially during wedding and Christmas seasons.
  • Some culinary experience is beneficial.
  • Positive approach to developing the product and service offering.
  • Strong expectation to deliver “quality dining experience” in keeping with the brand.
