The Role:

As the full stack software developer, you support the application development lead for internally created and externally purchased solutions within the HQW Group. You will use your skills and knowledge to help shape the tactical roadmap and define best practices within the business. As part of the wider Group I.T. you will support your colleagues with any application related queries and offer technical assistance in designing solutions for their problems.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and team working.
  • A great problem solver and self-starter, able to deliver a project from concept to delivery.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proven experience in using SQL Server, Visual Studio, MVC, ASP.NET, Bootstrap, Javascript & mobile technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in an I.T. discipline or equivalent years related experience.
  • Good standard of English and Maths (GCSE Grade 4 minimum)

Key Role Requirements:

  • Support all existing applications within the business, providing guidance and fault fixes
  • Support the SAP Consultant working on SAP related activities such as ABAPI development or internal configuration changes.
  • Develop new applications based on specifications gathered
  • Participate in development meetings documenting requirements that come from them
  • Support your other I.T. colleagues in other disciplines as and when required.
  • In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her Line Manager that are essentially related to their duties.
