About the role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Bristol depot management team to provide overall leadership and management for general crane operations, including the associated operatives and support teams.
The ideal candidate will have desire, energy, and enthusiasm to drive forward the Bristol crane team, negotiate contracts with existing and new customers ensuring optimum utilisation of the hire fleet to achieve maximum profitability.
You will be responsible for the welfare and safety of all personnel, the working success of the hire desk and all other legal and statutory requirements in order to meet your KPI’s and SLA’s.
Your strategic creativity, input and involvement is as critical as your ability to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get stuck in at both office and field level. You will be delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and can work to short deadlines and thrive under pressure.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications required:
- Proven commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
- A ‘boots on the ground’ approach
- Demonstrable knowledge and working experience within either crane/plant/construction
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A CPCS qualification would be an advantage
