Job Title: Guest Liaison Administrator

Location: Based at Ruskin Lodge Respite Care Home, Swinburne Road, St. Helens

Salary: £25,672.56 plus employer pension contribution up to 8%

Job type: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (flexible about start time) 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Closing Date: Sunday 9th July 2023 with interviews being held week commencing

Job Description

To provide administrative support and liaise with guests, guest’s families, Ruskin Lodge staff, Team Leaders, Welfare Officers and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making guest reservations via an excel booking system ensuring correct arrival, duration of stay and departure dates, appropriate room allocation, transport arrangements if necessary
  • Maintaining of guest records
  • Working closely with Team Leaders updating care plans and private assessments.
  • Collection of guests’ payments, maintenance of petty cash records, processing invoices.
  • Providing monthly statistical reports using an in-house database (Sales Logix)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly timesheets, transferring information onto monthly records, calculating holidays and additional hours, ensuring accuracy and submission to Manager and Personnel Department.
  • Providing reception cover as/when needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good level of education up to GCSE standard or equivalent and/or NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration
  • Who is very organised and can prioritise own workload
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Caring, empathetic nature and a good understanding of elderly people’s needs
  • Experience of Sales Logix database would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given
