Job Title: H.R. – Recruitment and Staff Development Officer

Location: Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.

Salary: The salary scale is from £26,500 to £29,000 depending on experience.

Job type: Full Time – Permanent.

About Us:

Serenity Welfare offers comprehensive and bespoke support packages for children and young people in the care of the local authority. We have a passion for helping children and young people and pride ourselves on our caring and nurturing approach.

We are looking for an exceptional H.R. – Recruitment and Staff Development Officer to drive and support our growing departments. Our head office is based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire (it borders Enfield and Barnet in North London and has very good transport links).

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Supporting on the full recruitment lifecycle from an administrative perspective.
  • Responsibility will involve updating staff profiles and managing the training
  • Screening V.s effectively to ensure criteria are met.
  • Booking interviews, as well as handling all candidate communications and delivering exceptional
  • Headhunt to build a strong pipeline of candidates for all open
  • Attending industry meet ups, university talks, career events and running graduate assessment days.
  • Staff inductions for new recruits following the induction process for each department.
  • Work with senior management to continually improve
  • Organising staff training and managing the training

Candidate Requirements:

Human Resources background in safer recruitment. Either in the social services/ care sector or settings, or in education settings such as experience of working within a school. – Essential

  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and manage heavy workload in a busy
  • Must have strong admin and software
  • Must have experience and knowledge of safer
  • Proficiency in filing and paper management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment/Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • 1 hour paid lunch time.
  • This is not a hybrid role.
