Our people, staff and volunteers, are our biggest resource and we are committed to value, invest in and nurture our people. One of our six strategic goals is to be the best we can in how we lead, manage and invest in our people. Bletchley Park is a great place to work and we are committed to making it even better

We are looking for a Head of Audiences and Programmes to join our busy team. Reporting to the Director of Public Engagement, you will lead and manage the team responsible for the delivery of Bletchley Park’s Museum engagement programmes including learning (formal and informal) and other public and academic programming offers, so that the organisation may widen its public appeal.

It’s a great time to join us. We have recently opened our new Learning Centre and are about to open a new 250-seat auditorium – providing exciting new opportunities for the development of our offer. • Lead on the ongoing development of learning at Bletchley Park, overseeing the delivery of agreed formal and informal programmes and offers, including the schools’ programme and family offer.

The ideal candidate:

You will have demonstratable experience of developing and delivering audience focussed products and programmes within the museums and heritage industry. You will be a confident self-starter with strong interpersonal, contract and project management skills. Good IT skills including the ability to use Google Docs, MS office, and word processing and spreadsheets is a must.

This position is full time, working 37.5 hours each week, usually Monday to Friday 9.00 until 17.00. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as required.

Benefits:

  • Company pension scheme
  • BUPA wellbeing cash plan
  • 38 days holiday per annum, inclusive of statutory holidays.
