Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Curdridge, Southampton, SO32 2DA
Salary: £12.50 an hour (plus approved non-guaranteed overtime)
Job type: Permanent, Full time (subject to a 3-month probationary period)
Yard Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 16.30 pm

The Role:
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Driver to join our busy team. We pride ourselves on providing high quality goods at competitive prices and we supply to both the Trade & Retail markets.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering landscape materials to our customers and landscape teams;
- Manual handling – Lifting and moving stock / Organising stock / Picking orders as and when required;
- Keeping the yard and surrounding site clean and tidy;
- Additional Duties – Loading/unloading of deliveries using a forklift;

Essential:
- Experience working in a builder’s merchants
- HGV Class 2 driving licence
- CPC qualification
- Multi drop experience
- HIAB experience.
Desirable:
- Experience using a Loading Shovel
- Landscape hard goods & aggregates knowledge
- Forklift licence
Experience (preferred):
- Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year
- Driving: 1 year
- Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers: 1 year
Licence/Certification (preferred):
- Driver CPC;
Based in Curdridge, Southampton the company’s services cover the whole of Hampshire and into the surrounding counties. Due the location of our Yard the right candidate will require their own transport.
Candidates with the relevant experience or job title of: Class 2 Trunk Driver, Class 2 Multi Drop Drivers, Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, Driver, Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver, HIAB Operator, HGV 2, Multidrop Driver, Multi-drop Driver, Class 2, HGV Driver, Class II Driver, LGV Driver, CPC Qualified may also be considered for this role.
