Summary:
We are currently looking to recruit HGV drivers at a rate of £13 per hour.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will join a team of 38 experienced and professional HGV Drivers, transporting products across the UK and providing transport solutions for our customers.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential – Full HGV C+E Class 1 licence, along with a Drivers CPC Card
- Excellent working knowledge of tachograph and WTD Rules
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
- A flexible approach to work with a customer focused attitude
- Fleet is a combination of 26t rigid flat and articulated vehicles with flat, tautliner and double deck trailers. C+E licence required for rigids as they also tow. Allocated vehicle could be either of these types.
- Goods carried include agricultural equipment, steel, hay/straw, foodstuffs, timber and dangerous goods.
Shift pattern:
Tramping with between 2 and 4 nights out likely per week.
